Protect Texas’s Vote
When it comes to protecting America’s vote, there are few states more concerning than Texas. Even in the face of a global pandemic, Texas election officials refused to ease the state’s draconian vote by mail laws that make it nearly impossible to vote absentee.
In a ruling upheld by the Supreme Court, Texas decided that lack of Covid immunity is not sufficient to qualify for a vote by mail ballot, which requires a voter to be ‘disabled.’ Texas’ election laws are a threat both to public health and a fair electoral process, but we’re not backing down from this fight.
