Linked to groups: Netroots Activism!
Last night, I went to a DFA Link Up in Greenwich CT. I brought my trusty new digital camcorder, (an inexpensive consumer model which Kim got me as an early father's day present). You can see the video of Frank Farricker, who is running for State Senate here:

It is pretty simple to record videos of local candidates and put them up online, and I would encourage everyone to do that.

By Kim Grant on Jun 14, 2006 4:38 PM EDTFrank has a very good point. Representatives in government are not adequately representing us as they should. Frank's an admirable candidate for wanting to bring up such a an important issues such as affordability to the forefront during his campaign.
It's true. Across the country there are small communities that are slowly being sold-out by destructive housing policies and a lack of interest in finding affordable housing for families.
It's tragic. And due to how hard everyone is being forced to workto pay for their housing costs, it's almost as if we are paying for a home we rarely get to enjoy; maybe a few hours in the day.
