Howard Dean’s Interview with Esquire Magazine

Written by: Joe F on Jul 8, 2009 1:30 PM EDT

By Joe Frandino

In a recent interview with Esquire Magazine, Howard Dean discussed aspects of the American economy, health-care reform, American businesses, global warming, and contemporary American politics.

In the interview, Dean mainly addressed problems with the current American health-care system.  He also devoted a large section of the interview to outlining the benefits of a public health insurance option, which is currently being drawn up in potential Congressional legislation.  Dean stated that “like national defense, health care is performed more effectively and efficiently by the government as opposed to the private sector.”

"You don't get a free pass. Our object was not to get you into power because we are Democrats - our object was to get you into power so you actually do something. And if you don't, we are not going to stand up and keep you. We want change. It wasn't about the Democratic Party. It was about the country." ---DNC Chair, Gov. Howard Dean, MD (A warning delivered to the newly elected Democratic majority in Washington during a speech given before a Christian evangelical audience at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA on April 7, 2007)

Greetings from the Prince of Darkness!  How can it be anything but a free pass with our DFA web workers (under Howard Dean) keeping click on features deactivated when the poor and homeless attempt to put pressure on public office holders by placing posts on this internet web site?

Let's see our DFA web workers fail to activate this click on feature that reveals the Catholic Church having to deal with their  free pass problem: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090708/ap_on_re_eu/eu_vatican_conservatives
