Make a difference in December

Important December meetings for C'ville-Albemarle activists:

1) Our good DFA member Carl Moje is the leader of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Democratic meetup. Like our DFA group (which Carl attends faithfully), the Democratic meetup group is trying to determine how it can be effective and active in the 2006 elections.

Join Carl and others at 7:30 pm on Tues., Dec. 13 at Coupe-de-Ville, 9 Elliewood Ave.

2) Another meeting of area importance is ASAP at 7 pm Thursday, Dec. 15, at Westminster Presbyterian on Rugby Road. The subject is plans for a 29N by-pass and related sprawl/development issues.

Steve Koleszar, other local pols, and both of the declared Democratic candidates for the 5th Cong. District (Bern Ewell and Al Weed) are likely to attend this meeting. This is something that concerns everyone in this area. Come, learn, and contribute your views.
