By Monica G on May 26, 2006 6:54 PM EDTThe correct address is 6 Kent Park. Date is Saturday, June 3.
If you have items to donate for the yard sale, please tag each with the price you think the item will sell for. You may begin to deliver these items to my garage after Memorial Day Weekend. Please call me at 442-6275 to be certain that I will be at home to receive the items.
The following are supplied by the Rawlingswood Neighborhood Giant Yard Sale: ad in the paper, signs on telephone poles, Goodwill pickup of all unsold items.
The following are supplied by me: waterproof tarps;display space; storage in my garage; moving the items out to the sale; moving them back until Goodwill comes; lawn chairs to sit outside; bathroom; water; phone; and a light lunch for volunteers.
Really, this is a chance to sit in the shade for a little while and sip lemonade while people buy junk and give the money to DFA. Come on by for an hour or two. Thanks to Mary Ellen for joining our volunteers.
