About Me:

I am an advocate for the disabled and
all Veterans. I founded a small vets organization in 2000 called UVA.
I am married to a 100 percent disabled combat Vietnam Vet who served with the 101st. We are raising our four grandchildren. I am a writer and public speaker. In 2003 I put out a Get out the Vote CD called Take it Back. In 2000, I attended the 10th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Anniversary in Washington DC at the home of Vice President Al Gore.

I was one of 25 essay winners for C-Span
