Would the mainstream media kindly...

quit obsessing over the Obama/Clinton race mispeak or Johnson's gaff over Obama, and GET BACK TO MAJOR ISSUES.

Not to minimize the importance of race, but honestly, both of the candidates in question are going to be advocates for racial equality. Making a mountain out of this verbal mole-hill wastes valuable media bandwidth on something that is ultimately not reflective of a real issue that will affect people's lives (since neither candidate is racist).

How about concentrating on what they will do to clean up the mess Bush has made and continues to make in the mideast? How about focusing more on Edwards (who is only 7 delegates behind out of over 2000 required) instead of ignoring his campaign just to cover the Obama/Clinton cat-fight? How about asking candidates the HARD questions instead of just taking answers at surface value, as you've been conditioned to do over the past 7 years by the Bush administration's punitive denial of access to reporters who tried to hold the administration accountable? (How about you start training these candidates *now* to be required to give you *substantive* answers once they get into office?)

How about you start exposing the financing behind the various campaigns--in detail--not just who has how much, but who *by name* the major contributors were, and who the main financial players are within the organizations who made major contributions?

Stop the info-tainment garbage and start telling us what is really going on behind the scenes.

Get some cojones. Quit being the candidate's buddies and start being spies on behalf of the general public.
