President-Elect Obama has asked citizens to honor his inauguration by being involved in our community and coming together as a nation. In the spirit of coming together as a nation to solve our country's problems, VoteVets.org cordially invites you to help us help America's veterans who have served us, but fallen on bad times.

U.S. VETS is an innovative public-private partnership created in 1993 to fill gaps in the continuum of care for homeless veterans. Through a coordinated effort with the US Department of Veterans Affairs and other partners, U.S. VETS brings hope that these veterans can break the cycle of homelessness.  U.S. VETS takes veterans off the street and gets them work.

Join VoteVets.org by assisting the U.S. Vets facility by doing chores.  Please come dressed in clothes you are able to work in, as we may even be painting.  Even if you are unable to stay and volunteer at U.S. Vets, we encourage you to donate as well.  Business clothes, regular clothes, games, cards, or any other practical items you may have are encouraged as well as cash donations to the program.
