Nominate John Edwards and YOU win.

Check out what the results of the DFA pool of Democrats!  Hillary may have lots of money, but it is John Edwards who can deliver the base.  John is the candidate with a platform that the base loves.  John is the candidate who can win in the general election by a wide margin.  John is the Candidate who will offer a real policy contrast with the Republican no matter who they run.  John will make this an election with a choice about somethng other than religion.  John will get you universal single payer healthcare.

$8300 (USA Today Projected US healthcare cost/ capita 2008)  MINUS  $4300 (highest per capita cost of EU single payer healthcare)  Equals $4000 saved.  At the  going rate for single payer healthcare costs, that means you get to keep $4000/ year of your disposable income per houshold member.  That amount is saved every year from now on.   If you are a family of three,  that's a free Prius every three years, or enough money to nicely educate family member number three, in college, by age 20.   That's just in time.   

Not Voting for John Edwards would be awfully expensive for you.

The Primary is not about who has the most money.  It is about  the change you want and who you really want the candidate to be.  You should know  beyond doubt that whoever we nominate will be awash in Democratic money the very next day.  Who's getting all the money now is a distraction that the opposition is using to keep you from from focusing on candidates who can really beat the Republicans and away from candidates who are committed to real change.  

The Roves of the world know humans are herd animals. We love to be in the right crowd.  We want to back a winner.  If money gives the impression of leadership.  It can create a powerful herding force.  But, you can fight back, the nomination is even more powerful.  Give John the nomination and YOU win the election this time.
