About Me:

My favorite senator was the very liberal Paul Wellstone. I agree with the very liberal, but support the moderate democrats rather than trying to punish them (ala Ralph Nader) because they aren't liberal enought.

I admire people like Martin Luther King who accomplished a lot for his social objectives when there wouldn't have been a majority to vote his view law when he first started his work. I think as democrats we have to concentrate on the public to achieve real social change rather than trying to punish politicians who don't vote for a measure that is supported by a lot less than the majority of the public.
