About Me:

Yet another transplant from the east coast to the Bay Area. Came for grad school, dropped out, never left. I did the Dean meetup thing in Berkeley, phonebanked for Kerry, and finally got truly active during the Angelides campaign.

My parents were '60s liberal intellectuals. My mom grew up in CA, went to Pomona, and was involved with the grape boycott. When I was three years old, I thought that The President was like Mr Rogers for grownups, and when my parents told me Jimmy Carter was going away I thought they were going to take away Mr Rogers too.
