Political Skills:

I have been an intern for Congressman Ben Cardin, worked on the state's Smart Growth initiative under Gov. Glendening, and helped prosecute war criminals at the international court in the Hague. I have volunteered for numerous national, state, and local candidates, and I served on the Justice Policy Team for the Kerry Presidential Campaign. I was a summer clerk for the federal judge in D.C. who is also the chief judge of the FISA court. I am an experienced and avid writer, canvasser, organizer, event planner, public speaker, and advocate. In college and in law school, I took several courses about government and the political process. I was also a member of the Maryland delegation to the 2000 and 2004 Democratic National Conventions and president of the Stanford Law School Democrats.

Chair of county crime victim services advisory board; precinct vice-chair; former general counsel of statewide Young Democrats and District 17 liaison for county Young Democrats; organizer of 2004 voter protection project; co-chair of most successful county Democratic Spring Ball in history.
