DELIVERED VACANT a riveting documentary film by Nora Jacobson focused on issues of affordable and low-income housing and the Hudson Alliance "Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness.

So, join Hudson DFA's own Jersey City Coucilman Steven Fulop, Denise Booker from Jersey City Acorn, and Susan Mearns, Division Cheif from the Hudson County Housing and Community Development Department for a film and discussion.

GREAT JOB!!!!! We did it!! THANKS!!! We ended up in the #4 spot and won the FREE DFA banner. You are great!

Hudson DFA came together like a true organization and took it the max! Through teamwork and persistence we made it to the top! AWESOME!

Thanks for working hard to help with this challenge. Hudson DFA members' rock! We deserve to be one of the largest groups in the state! We earned that right and now we are being rightfully recognized. Again, GREAT JOB!

Hi friend!

DFA is in the middle of a membership drive. The group that registers the most members by Thursday, 8/31 (tomorrow) by 5 pm wins a free DFA banner. Hudson DFA was in the top 10, but we are trailing behind. That's ok, though!

We can easily win. All we have to do is register at least 35 people in the next 26 1/2 hours. We can totally do this!

Hudson DFA and Bergen Grassroots, in conjunction with NJ for Democracy, are hosting the Iraq War Forum: "If not Now, When?" on Wednesday, August 23rd, 7 pm-9 pm at the Edgewater Community Center. (See below for Event Details.)

The panelist consisting of Congressman Holt, Rothman, and Aronshon will address the group on their positions and thoughts on ending the Iraq Occupation. After hearing their statements, we will have a question and answer session open to the public.

This is a great opportunity for you to ask those tough questions that you've been looking to get answered. So, come out and learn more about the Congressmans' positions and ideas, while you get your issues addressed with regards to the Iraq Occupation.
