About Me:

I was raised in Lafayette, California graduated from UC, Berkeley, and went to Niger, West Africa in the Peace Corps, a mind warping experience. I have taught in SF, Bolinas-Stinson Beach, and Berkeley. I was a member of the Curriculum Commission of the State of California. For the past 5 years I have been training teachers and reviewing schools. This year I am taking a break. I have raised 2 children in Berkeley who have successfully graduated from not only Berkeley public schools, but also UC, Davis and soon we hope from UC, Santa Cruz. My husband is a CPA working at a small tax firm here in Berkeley. We co-own a small apartment house with family and friends at Oxford and Vine in Berkeley.
