Campaign updates from the campaigns that Asheville DFA has endorsed:

*Doug Jones, Democratic candidate for North Carolina House of Representatives, District 116

*Susan Fisher, Democratic candidate for North Carolina House of Representatives, District 114

*Van Duncan, Democratic candidate for Sheriff of Buncombe County

Beth Trigg from Susan Fisher's campaign - Letters to the Editor campaign

Canvassing Training in preparation for a canvassing event on Saturday, September 9th for Susan Fisher and Van Duncan. This training is prepared by professionals from the national DFA group.


Announcements:

Progressive Democrats of Buncombe Country is holding a meeting from 7 to 9 PM on September 13 at North Asheville Library. From 8 to 9 PM, local Democrats running for office will be saying a few words about their campaigns and how we can help them out.

Progressive Democrats of North Carolina will be holding their annual meeting on October 7th at YMI Center in Asheville. This will be an all day meeting with more details to follow.
