Bluehampshire has put up a video of Bush Two throwing out the baseball and getting booed.  I hear code pink is claiming credit for organizing that response.  it's not likely to have registered.  I like this video better

clip_image00111JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An octogenerian American surfer hopes to get Israelis and Palestinians on the same wave by sending surf boards to the Gaza Strip.

Dorian Paskowitz, an 86-year-old physician, says the idea came to him after he watched a television program in the United States which showed Gazans using broken surf boards because they could not buy new ones.

Paskowitz launched the “Surfing for peace” project on Tuesday together with the “One Voice” organization which aims to help moderate Israelis and Palestinians promote peace.

“Surfers are ambassadors of health and well-being and they are also men of peace,” Paskowitz said.

The Californian, who has been surfing for over half a century, donated a dozen boards to Palestinians on Tuesday and says he hopes to be able to bring Israeli and Gazan surfers to a joint event in Israel in October.

Palestinian surfer Ahmad Abu Hussaili and others managed to ....

McCain Called a ‘Warmonger’ at Obama Event

By Larry Rohter

MISSOULA, Montana — On the air, Ed Schultz, a liberal talk show host based in Fargo, N.D., is well-known for his blunt criticisms of the Bush Administration. But Mr. Schultz, a supporter of Senator Barack Obama, may have gone too far late Friday when he called Senator John McCain “a warmonger.”

Schultz was right on the money. Keep telling it like it is Ed.

Howard Dean is on This Week on ABC, and also on Face the Nation on CBS tomorrow morning.

I hope he stands his ground.

"Republicanism is authoritarianism. Authoritarianism is control. Control is dictating to other Human Beings not only what they can and cannot do...but what they can and cannot know as well. The willful and purposeful imposition of ignorance, superstition, and fear."

Gee,let me think, which end of the political spectrum believes in individual freedom and which seeks to use the power of the state to restrict freedom??

Political correctness in speech?
Smoking in a bar? in a car? At a football game?
Restriction on use of real estate you own?
Progressive tax system taking more from the producers to give it to people to whom it does not belong?
Policies giving benefits in employment and education based on race or sex of applicant?
Determining the car you should drive or purchase
What light bulb you can have in your house
Low flow shower heads
and hundreds of other intrusions into your daily life by the do gooder class that all know better than the rest of us.

That interference in your life is because of liberal ideas, not Republicans. Repubs just want to left alone by Government. You want to force everyone to do as you see fit.

Every game has its rules, Fox, but we have learned since 1980, that the agenda of the neocons was to throw out the rule book, so the most rich and most powerful can write their own rules.

The decline of this country and the economy and the dollar is the result of too many powerful interests writing too many of their own rules, and collectively becoming their own worst enemy, as they have been the enemy of the common good from the time they started their agenda.

Democratic control is for the common good.

Republican control is for the good of the fewest possible.

Um...these things are not mandated by anyone. Just promoted.

When Democrats force everyone in American to put their light bulbs in Guantanimo, you might have a point.

_____________

Yes, the voters do. It's your evil leaders we have a problem with.

It's not repug vs. dem or black vs. white or men vs. women ..

It's the top 1% versus every other soul on earth.

Wake up "fox"
