Get out your calendars and PDA's everyone:  We have a lot planned for the coming week!   Those of us in Chicago are thrilled to have our city hosting the 2nd annual Yearly Kos Convention from August 2nd-5th.  Thousands of political activists and candidates will descend on our wonderful town.  There will be more to do than time to do it in.  So we've put together a little guide to next week's events sponsored by or of particular interest to us DFAers.  Before you look at the mind-boggling YKC convention schedule, make a note of the following DFA-friendly events.      And if you are not planning to attend YKC but will be in town, there are still some EXCITING events we have planned on the eve of the convention which are open to the public, no YKC registration required.  Wed. Aug. 1st

The following events are NOT part of the Yearly Kos Convention and are open to all DFAers. Yearly Kos Welcome Event:   6-8pm Local DFA link-ups Northside DFA and HanDI are co-sponsoring the Yearly Kos Welcome Event on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 6:00 PM in Chicago.  If you plan to attend, please register with one of our DFA groups to help them cover the cost of sponsoring this event:RSVP:
