New feature: online poll

Linked to groups: DFA-Link Organizers

A lot of members in my GenDFA group can't make it to our regular meetings (every other week) because of class, or work, or a meeting, or whatever. It has been difficult to try to find a time during the week that works for everyone. This gave me the idea that the best way to find a suitable time would be to have people take a poll.

Is there any way a polling feature could be added to DFA-Link? It would be best if it was made very flexible, such that the options to answer the poll are not just to pick one of the answers, but that you would be able to check off all applicable answers. That way, I could propose a bunch of times, and people can check off all the ones where they would be available. I'm sure there are other groups who are having a similar problem, and still others who would like to poll their groups on things like "which issue should we concentrate on this month" or "which Bush administration official(s) will get indicted this month?"

Hi Fran,

Great idea. We're going add polls to DFA-Link later this fall!

Online Poll

I think the polls would help some. I've heard of some people joining groups just so they can answer the poll. It would be interesting to see if thats the case here.
