Dear Member,

Please attend Petitioning for David Askew for Alderman on either Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM or Sunday, October 1, 2006 at 10:00 AM.

Two days - this Saturday and Sunday!

DFA is all about building the 'farm team' all over the nation, and our guy is running for alderman. Please do what you can to help us secure a real victory!

David decided to take the plunge, and this is our opportunity to be there for him. We will spread out in the South Loop area with our clipboards and gather signatures. It is very easy to do, but we need people to do it. The other candidates are willing to take campaign contributions from contractors, so they have the cash to pay people to do this. David is our kind of candidate, so he needs people who believe in a different kind of politics to do the groundwork.

So please come out for as long as you can. Any bit of time you can spare is appreciated. Either day or both would be great! Thank you!

Remember Cegelis - we know it doesnt have to be all about the money. Volunteer politics is how it is supposed to be, but the change is only gonna come if we are willing to do the work!

Schedule:
10:00 - Meet downtown at Starbucks, Jackson & Wabash
11:00 - Spread out throughout the South Loop area and collect more signatures that any other aldermanic candidate to get a member of our group on the ballot
