Urge Your Representative to Take Torture off the Table!

On Wednesday, December 12, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on legislation H.R. 2082 that would establish one humane standard of treatment for all detainees in U.S. custody.

This is our chance to eliminate the CIA double standard created by President Bush's executive order in July. If this legislation passes, U.S. intelligence agencies would have to comply with the U.S. military's clear interrogation standards. Tell your Representative you're counting on their vote on Wednesday.

Send a message to your rep here right now!

 Thanks for all you do!

What Robin Kinlin didn't say in her post on the NJ Straw Poll Mock Caucus is that despite 19 out of 21 NJ county Democratic Chairs backing Hillary, paid staffers, signs, balloons, Edwards, Obama and Kucinich won in that order.  So the campaign is not over.  The grassroots can put a progressive over the top.  Don't let the establishment Democrats, the MSM and the Polls decide who the Democratic Party nominee should be.
