11th District Forum on Iraq War TONIGHT; Arl Dem School Board Caucus Saturday

TONIGHT is the forum on the Iraq War with both Democratic
candidates running to beat Tom Davis in the 11th District
(see item 2 below). Will you be there to make your views
known and help elect a new representative who will fight to
bring our troops home and protect our country?

Midday TOMORROW, former Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) will be in
Pentagon City to promote a saver's society (see item 3)! We
have no upcoming plans for Arlington/Alexandria meetings
(ignore any notice about tomorrow), so reply to this if you
have ideas you'd like to turn into an event!

On Saturday, Arlington Democrats have an unassembled caucus
("firehouse primary") to endorse a candidate for School
Board. Learn about both candidates, then take about 20
minutes Saturday between 2 and 9 pm to vote for your choice
(requires signing a pledge that you haven't already decided
to support someone else for November):

TONIGHT, there will be a Forum on the Iraq War with the two
Democratic candidates seeking the nomination to run against
Republican Tom Davis in the 11th Congressional District of
Virginia. The two candidates vying for the Democratic
nomination are Andrew Hurst and Ken Longmyer. It's a great
chance to share your views on the war with the two
candidates and hear what they have to say on the subject.

The event is co-sponsored by the following Virginia
grassrooots groups: the VIRGINIA CHAPTER OF PROGRESSIVE
DEMOCRATS OF AMERICA, the VIRGINIA GRASSROOTS COALITION, and
