WE WILL WATCH

BOUGHT AND SOLD
By Robert Millman

A Documentary about Electronic Voting in New York State
(An opportunity to see some of your local elected officials in a movie!)

After this 45 minute film we will hold a discussion about our next steps. County Legislator Vincent Tamagna will join us - to discuss the process at the County level and to get your feedback. Show Vinny that our community continues to feel strongly about this issue.

We also invited our Putnam County Board of Election Commissioners, but don’t know if they will attend.

This meeting is extremely important. Unless our votes are counted accurately, we won’t be able to accomplish anything.

The clock is ticking on the choice of voting machines in New York State. Voting systems for each county are due to be selected by our Board of Elections Commissioners no later than March 6, 2007 for the 2007 elections - we must demand that our votes will be recorded on paper ballots - not on computers. The situation is very fluid, so you need to keep informed.

Bring your family and friends - this is truly an event for the entire community.

The meeting will take place on Sunday, December 10 at 2 PM at Desmond Fish Library, Rt. 403 at Rt. 9D.??
