It's a joke, not a quote: Little Johnny was a total optimist and he was driving his parents crazy with his sunny disposition. So for his sixth birthday they gave him a beautifully wrapped box of horse manure. Johnny opened the gift and started shrieking and running from closet to closet. His mother grabbed him and asked what he was doing and Johnny replied, "I just know there's a pony here somewhere!" We Democrats sometimes feel like we're looking for the pony, but it's a lot more fun when we do it together.

About Me:

I am secretary of my county Democratic party and I serve on the state party executive committee. I am also executive director of Progressive Democrats for Delaware, the DFA coalition group for our state. Luckily I'm retired so I have the time to devote to all this. I meet the very best people and have a lot of fun. The picture was taken at the state party convention in May and that's me, second from the right.
