Candidates' Responses Now Available

Dear Friends,

All the candidates invited to tomorrow night's forum have submitted their answers to the DFR Candidate Questionnaire.

It is now possible to upload files to the DFR website. On the bottom right of the groups' webpage is a box that says "File Uploads." In the box is listed a file that says "Forum Compendium." The file is in Word format.

I will bring a few copies to the Forum, but it's a big file, so it would be helpful if you could print out your own copy.

Swearing-In Ceremony, February 7

Dear Friends,

Come enjoy the fruits of your labors.

Andy Melendrez will be sworn in as a member of the Riverside City Council on Tuesday, February 7.

The ceremony starts at 6:30 PM, but it is recommended that you arrive at 6:00 PM if you want a seat.

The ceremony will take place in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 3900 Main Street.

Afterwards there will be an unofficial pay-your-own-way party at Zacateca's.

Andy Melendrez Campaign Meeting

Dear Friends:

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Now that the holiday is over, we will devote ourselves to the Melendrez campaign. The runoff will be held on January 17th. It is of vital importance that Andy wins this seat and that the Riverside City Council remains in Democratic hands.

There will be an organizational meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 29th, 7:00 pm, at 3701 Market Street (between University and Mission Inn Avenues) in Riverside.

We apologize for the late notice, but hope that you will still be able to join us.
