My personal volunteering highlight:

I was going to vote for President Obama before he even knew he was running for President! I have followed his career closely and was involved from the moment he got the Primary nod. I ate, slept, dreamed and breathed his campaign. I saw his campaign through from announcement to Inauguration. It was the most satisfying experience of my life.

More about my work on current campaigns and issues:

I am the campaign director for the Jim Piccillo for Congress campaign for the US HOR representing Florida's 5th District. Jim Piccillo is facing a four-term Republican incumbent in an area that has been hard hit and affected by foreclosures, unemployment and high health care costs with low-quality health care.

What motivates me:

The call to do the right thing for those around me. I have always believed that one should reach out and help others who need it. I believe this country can be so much more than what it has been the last 8 years.

How I try to motivate others:

I keep them engaged! I read articles, watch each news channel (with the exception of Fox News), and keep bringing the issues to light for discussion and debate. The issues need to stay in front of all of us, or they will be ignored and forgotten.

Where I see myself in five years:

A key player. Whether it be assisting an elected official or being an elected official myself. The world has changed and people need to learn to move along with it.
