Description:
Founded in the spring of 2004, Progressive Democrats for Delaware has become a strong voice in Delaware politics with close to 400 members. Our members serve on the party's district committees and on the boards of both the County and State Executive Committees.
PDD stresses action and an entrepreneurial approach to politics, encouraging members to run for office, form lobbying groups for legislation, and become active volunteers within the party.
This election year PDD and DFA have both endorsed Jack Markell for Governor in Delaware and he is a founding member of the group. In addition, at least six other members of PDD are running for office in the 2008 cycle.
In keeping with our action orientation, a PDD endorsement carries both monetary support and volunteer support, and is sought by progressive candidates throughout the state.
If you want to make a difference in Delaware politics come join us. PDD meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM at DelDems Headquarters, 19 East Commons Blvd., New Castle, DE 19720
