It's almost time. The 5th Annual Democracyfest is August 16-17 at the Dulles Holiday Inn in Northern Virginia.

Lots of new speakers have been added including Leslie Byrne, a DFA endorsed candidate who ran in the 10th District of Virginia. Leslie is one great lady and has always supported Howard Dean.

So, get your tickets soon at www.democracyfest.net.

Also lots of our DFA friends will be there to attend training, the speeches and well just to have a great time with fellow progressives.

See you there!!

I'll be stopping in Harrisburg, PA to welcome the Governor and the Register for Change bus tour to our state capital. Anyone traveling to DC from the northern midwest or northeast on Friday should also stop by:

215 Market St
Harrisburg, PA

Morons....I guess they will be allowed to stay here as I highly doubt this post will ever be front paged by DFA.

Greetings from the Prince of Darkness!  Thank you for getting rid of those poor and homeless writers!  To think that us power elite cronies who are in with the in crowd should have to hear from the peasants!  To think that they have the audacity to imply that some kind of revolt could take place (and is taking place) just because DFA staffers censor news that could free the oppressed!!  Look how long regular news agencies have been censoring the have nots!!!  Just to be on the safe side you may want to keep looking laughy and tongue in cheek like the other despots do so that it can all look like a joke in case the peasants come to power somehow!  I hope you DFA staffers are remembering to censor any "catch phrases" like power to the people that might appear!!  Brainwashed peasants are happy peasants!!!

Hope DemFest attendees get a chance to talk to powers that be about blog issues - being relegated to the 'water cooler', not knowing how threads get promoted or who recommends them, having to post on topic, not being allowed to speak out against autocratic blog management for fear of being kicked off the blog...

Despite some really strange comments above.

Anni, I hope we can talk to someone about the blog too.
