Of the many problems workers face today, wage theft is probably one which receives the least amount of attention from politicians and the mainstream media - probably because the victims are usually poor, low-wage workers who are quite often ignored by the general public. Nevertheless, it is a serious problem which is more prevalent than we would like to think, and one which prevents people from rising up out of poverty.
