Please join us and special guest Congressman Mike Quigley on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at a Michigan Avenue fundraiser in support of our friend Jeff Smith for State Representative. Jeff is running in the 18th District, which spans from Rogers Park to the North Shore, taking in most of Evanston. It's an open primary because the incumbent, Julie Hamos, is running for Congress.

Jeff Smith, an attorney with a breadth of real-world professional and political experience, has been endorsed by Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, 49th Ward alderman Joe Moore, and many other community leaders. Jeff is the leading candidate for this important district, traditionally one which can support bold vision. He will be a voice of reform and common sense in the state legislature. The Nov. 10 event will be a good chance to meet with Jeff, and to hear from Congressman Quigley. Here are the details:
