Northside DFA February Meeting

Agenda:

Everyone is welcome to join us at 6:00 p.m. for dinner (buffet - $15 donation) and socializing. The meeting itself starts at 7:00 p.m. We meet the first Thursday of every month.

The main agenda item for this meeting will be an endorsement vote for a candidate to fill Rahm Emanuel's 5th District congressional seat. We will discuss the candidates and ask our NDFA voting members to nominate candidates that they feel should be considered for endorsement. You don't have to be a voting member to participate in the discussion of candidates! We will then have an up or down vote on each candidate that is nominated. It takes 75% of the vote for a candidate to be endorsed.

Anyone is welcome to participate in this meeting EXCEPT the candidates themselves.

To be a Northside DFA voting member you must have attended three of our monthly meetings and done three volunteer activities for our NDFA endorsed or adopted candidates in the previous 12 months. For more details you can read our NDFA bylaws here (pdf):
