Volunteers are what makes a campaign come alive. They knock on the doors, make the calls, stuff the envelopes and write letters to the editor. They are the backbone and public face of any campaign.

Recruiting, training and retaining volunteers are some of the most important skills any campaign should have. This month DFA Night School turns it focus on Volunteers. We'll discuss how to recruit your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and even perfect strangers to join your campaign.

Night School is DFA's interactive online training program. Every month Night School brings top campaign experts right to your home at absolutely no cost to you. You can listen live from your computer on Blog Talk Radio or call into a nationwide conference call on your telephone. The training will last just over an hour and will be accompanied by a slideshow you can view online or download and print out. Check back here the day of the training to download the slides.

No extra applications are necessary, simply RSVP above and you'll receive an email with all the necessary information. Then join us live on September 10th at 8:30pm EDT for the training.

Even if you can't listen in live, sign up and we'll send you a link where you can listen to a recording of the training online.

Finally, don't forget to sign up for our final September Night School on Canvassing & Phonebanking: www.democracyforamerica.com/votercontact
