Who am I?

My name is Brice A. Cook. I love to organize my community so that we all can get things done for the in-betterment of EVERYONE in our communities. Organizing does not mean we meet and talk and have a bit of food and than go home and do not take action to enhance our communities. What it means is that we meet, talk about what needs to be done, and go out and implement our ideas to help enhance our communities. It is my personal endeavor to help oil the gears of change and lead our people in our communities.

Why am I running?

I am running for a better America, a more united people, and to bring trust back to our land. Environmental Defense is key to making America a better place for all.

My Goals

Yes, accountable for everything I say and do in office I will be.

My DFA Values

You see I have worked with DFA as a volunteer for Americas change and let me just say I have loved it every step of the way. DFA not only teaches the public how to organize, but how to keep a group running and keep a group strong for public change and in-betterment. Environmental Defense is on the top of my list and always on my mind.

My Campaign is People Powered!

Change for a Changing World engages people young and old via our facebook media and twitter accounts. We do not make phone calls nor knock on doors.

About the Endorsement Process

The driving force behind all DFA endorsements is our members. We recognize that all politics is local and that what is considered progressive in Los Angeles may be very different from what's considered progressive in Louisville. For this reason, DFA does not have a litmus test of specific progressive positions for which a candidate must stand. Our endorsement is heavily weighted based on these questions:

• Will the candidate move the progressive movement forward in their community?
• Does the candidate have substantial support from our local members?
• Do the candidate's positions and policies fit into the broader progressive movement?
• Is the campaign people-powered and the candidate working to win?

If you have questions, or want to let us know about a candidate in your neighborhood, please call us at (802) 651-3200 or email us at [email protected] .
