Background:

My entire working career has been devoted to health care. As a Respiratory Therapist, then Health Promotion Director, I have spent 25 years helping people by teaching healthly lifestyle skills. I currect am Director of a clinic which offers free care to the unisured of Delaware County in Indiana. I have also organized a medical mission to Haiti for 11 years and established a clinic now run by Haitian personal. We supply medications and supplies throughout the year as well as visit 2 x's a year.

Goals:

I have had it.
My opponent sits on the utilites and energy committee and has helped them protect their interests for years. He has stood in the way of renewable energy, sustainable energy as well as alternative energy. He is committed to big business at all costs and he must go.

Grassroots Support:

I have been going door to door for some time. When I ran 2 years ago, I won the townships where I walked. However, it is a large rural area. This year there are more individuals coming forward to help. There are also many people willing to host house parties for me to meet their friends and neighbors.

DFA Values:

I have worked on campaigns I believed in since 1968. I have been involved in issues important to the growth of our country and state. Currently, I am Director of a clinic that offers medical care for those without health care. I have also helped to create a clinic in Haiti and have organized a medical mission for the past 11 years.
