Background:

Community Bank Owner, Corporate and tax attorney, founder of the American Sustainable Energy Council, Progressive Democrat with fiscal responsibility. Understand in detail necessary tax and sustainable energy policies to provide fair share taxation and rid our dependence on foreign and fossil fuels. Former college football coach and taxi cab driver.

Goals:

Provide healthcare for every American, rid our dependence on foreign oil, fair share taxation for working and middle class, exit the unnecessary and stupid war in Iraq with a surge in diplomacy and a message that we will no longer be dependent on Mideast oil and will no longer need to support the monarchies and dictatorships in the Mideast.

Issues:

The primary reason I am running for Congress is because I believe that the most critical thing we can do for our National Security, our Economy, and our Environment, is to break our dependence on foreign oil and as a bank owner, tax lawyer and sustainable energy expert, I know how to do this. Number two, We need to provide healthcare for every American and I can significantly contribute to the solution. Three, to provide fair-share taxation to benefit the working and middle classes at the benefit of all.

Grassroots Support:

It is imperative to put politics where it belongs, with the people. We have the strong support of most Democratic leaders in our Congressional District. In addition, by involving individuals from all walks of life, we build on the theme of being united rather than divided. We will have the support of individuals from business owners, to lawyers, to Chamber of Commerce members, members of labor, and pro-choice and human rights advocates, to college students, and including environmentalists and sustainable energy commercial interests.

DFA Values:

I am and have been consistently pro-choice and completely respect human rights for all. Fiscally responsible in that I understand the specifics of how trickle up economics provide far more benefit to everyone than trickle down economics.
