Speaker Nancy Pelosi endorses Mark Leno
Linked to campaigns: Mark Leno for California State Senate 3rd Distric
(From Mark Leno's campaign blog.)
On Saturday, May 31, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi endorsed Assemblyman Mark Leno for the third state senate district. Mark now has the support of all three Congress members of the third district by joining Congresswomen Jackie Speier and Lynn Woolsey in supporting Mark Leno. Here are some of the photos from the rally. Click here for the video.
I want to go back and read the other thread tho, since i haven't seen it yet.
Whether Hillary is dropping out or not...all the mixed messages...she truly need to tell this bunch to sit down and shut their mouths. They just keep on dividing my state.
Florida Democratic leaders get their pout on publicly.
Alcee Hastings called the DNC stupid. That's pathetic. More at the link.
She needs to talk to her surrogates here. I hear that Wasserman Schultz was on Thom Hartmann today dissing the DNC ruling.
I am sick of it all.
I have a toolbar! I couldn't even log in w/old account tonite so I caved and s/u new one w/new email addy. and now that I'm here it's thundering close by so will say a quick howdy and bbl!

Obama says he will meet Clinton after race ends
By TOM RAUM, Associated Press Writer

PONTIAC, Mich. - Barack Obama said Monday he has asked Democratic presidential rival Hillary Rodham Clinton for a meeting on her terms "once the dust settles" from their race.
...
earthtoyou is Jo*in*Vermont - will 'fix' that later. (glad my creepy little evil shadow icon is gone...!)
He went off today on Obama's church and said Obama quitting Trinity is *all politics*. Diary over at Kos. Not able to link today. Sorry. Under the weather here.
So if his quitting is not politics, what is it? I think it's a wise political move, but I don't admire him for it.
I doubt he'll lead from a spiritual paradigm which is what we desperately need IMO. A good start would be to ignore AIPAC and start talking peace peace peace. And cut off arms shipments to any country anywhere. If he had the courage to do that, would the repugs win? What about principles?
But that's not practical nor political, is it? Are we stuck in eternal war, as we have been since our own Revolution?
Bring on the 100th monkey!!!

Nite mary, feel better asap! And Best Wishes on becoming a DNC board member from VA! You keep on Deanin' on!
- Ah, loyalty. Yes, Obama should have stayed with a church where the reporters were harrassing the congregation, where religion and politics were inextricably entwined. And what is it you don't admire about his deciding to leave the church?
By Pat in Colorado on Jun 3, 2008 12:07 AM EDT'twas a beautiful day in Chicago, today that was topped off by dining with Donna :-) Need to be up early to take kid3 out to breakfast so pillowland time for me.

- Seashell, you should run for office, stop the Iraq War, stop the public graft.
By Pat in Colorado on Jun 3, 2008 12:12 AM EDTJust get up there on your spiritual paradigm and holler at the top of your lungs. I'm sure we'll all be changed, and the world will know peace as never before.
What gobbledy gook. Spiritual paradigm, unconditional love, do what I say, make the world behave according to how I want it to behave, and if you don't, I won't admire you! And I am spiritually enlightened and have unconditional love and forgiveness and everyone else is flawed and ignorant including Barack Obama who quit his church, knowing that the media would not let up, would make life miserable for everyone and tie him up in a no win situation. Be sure not to admire him for his pragmatism, his compassion, his sheer guts in doing this. Be sure to find him spiritually inadequate as we poor fools all are.
Harumph and fiddle sticks. Good night all.
I really didn't mean to do that 3 times. Now that I see the photo, does it look like a hooker? LOL
