Background:

Lifelong Resident of the District, Military Veteran, Proven Leader, distinguished attorney

Goals:

I am running because Anne Arundel County needs a proven leader with the perspective, character and experience to make the tough calls.

Issues:

1) Education
2) Growth Management
3) Public Safety

Grassroots Support:

A very important one. I have personally knocked on over 5,000 doors and will knock on 5,000 more before the primary.

DFA Values:

One of the core beliefs I will carry throughout my career in politics is that the primary role of the government is to protect those who are too poor, too old or too ill to protect themselves.

I am a staunch supporter of the First Amendment and a strong opponent to the death penalty.

One of the most fiscally repsonsible things a government can do is measure the performance of its own programs. Our county does not measure for results and I will support the implementation of such a program once elected. Our county is not a good steward of the money spent towards education. I will work to change that by ensuring scheduled maintenance is performed on our facilities and using technology to increase efficiencies.
