B. Dan Riley for State Delegate

Background:

I am a school teacher. I was a State Delegate from 1999-2003. A strong community activist.

Goals:

To support the basic Democratic platform of fairness to ALL. I've had enough of the Republicans addressing their own special interests and not the "people's" interests.

Issues:

1. Affordable health care.
2. Affordable energy policy.
3. Responsible development, not urban sprawl - to support adequate facility bills.

Grassroots Support:

A major role. Traditionally the Republicans raise ungodly amounts of money. To combat this, grassroots support is a must in my campaign.

DFA Values:

I believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity. Believe in a hand-up not a hand-out policy. Government should be run like a household. Take care of our basic operating costs while having funds to address emergencies. I look at tax-payers money like my own money and don't like to see it wasted.
