Background:
I'm a creator of Air America Radio. Career broadcaster. ABC, CBS, Clear Channel. Talk host, DJ, executive, broadcast enterpreneur.
Goals:
To point the country in the right direction again. I'll fight to establish affordable, quality healthcare that can't be taken away, reduce the deficit and restore fiscal responsibility, keep jobs in America, promote stem cell research, insure women's rights, guarantee privacy, support the Murtha Plan on Iraq--and make sure Veterans return to the benefits guaranteed them and a VA that will jump through any hoop to help them.
Issues:
Quality, affordable healthcare that can't be taken away. Good jobs with good benefits. Schools that teach--not to tests, but for successs in life--with teachers rewarded for their work. Roads and transit that work.
Grassroots Support:
We have a presence on the internet where we communicate with interested constutuents and a blog. We plan on using our website and blog to keep our voters, activists, and others informed, engaged, and part of our overall campaign.
DFA Values:
I believe in tax breaks for those who deserve them. Not Exxon, as they become the most profitable company in history...We should close corporate tax loopholes that send jobs and capital overseas and use that money to balance the budget. Also, we should restore the Pay-as-you-go rule to Congress where any tax cuts are offset with spending cuts.
