Background:
Former public school teacher, principal, and currently a professor in educational leadership at Stephen F. Austin State University
Goals:
I am running for this office because I believe in the future of public education and every child's right to a quality education. I will not allow our children to be cheated out of this right by pro-voucher radicals.

Grassroots Support:
I will be looking for support from local teacher, PTA, and community groups. I am asking for financial support from same as well as local businesses.
DFA Values:
I support the reinstatement of teacher benefits that were taken away in 2003 and also support fiscal responsibility of local school districts to the public.
