Deters wants ballots separated
Special prosecutor to probe same-day votes

check out the comments below the article…
here an appropriate comment from John in Cincy…who has been a true guardianof our vote in OHIO…
I
have a nomination for a special prosecutor: David Iglesias, former U.S.
Attorney who was fired because he refused to prosecute sham cases of
"voter fraud" for the administration. You may recall Alberto Gonzales
and staffer Monica Goodling resigned over the U.S. Attorney fiasco.
Iglesias has an extended interview online at PBS.

As part of the investigation the
special prosecutor should also consider whether Deters misused his
office and powers in this case. The BOE has the responsibility and
authority to investigate registration issues, including subpoena power.
One has to wonder whether Deters' actions consitute interfering with
election officials' duties, a violation of Ohio law.

From DEMOCRATS.COM comes this plea on behalf of Troy Davis…
Despite a credible claim of innocence, Troy Davis is scheduled to be executed on October 27 - just one week from today. The Supreme Court, led by arch-conservative John Roberts, declined to hear his appeal, even though no physical evidence linked Davis to the crime and 7 out of 9 witnesses have recanted.
The Georgia Board of Pardon and Paroles denied clemency to Davis. Please join Amnesty International USA in urging them to reconsider their decision.
