Neil Young: Let's Impeach The President
It has been far too long since I posted some music, so, here is the video for Neil Young's song, "Let's Impeach The President":
This song is from Neil Young's album, "Living With War." A great record if you have not heard it.

Another failure of Democrats. Nothing but lame excuses for not doing what's right and what the Constitution demands.
Impeach!
Democrats continually whine about how many times Republicans have filibustered to defeat legislation.
What I want to know is, why haven't the Democrats filibustered?--41 votes is all it takes. a partial list of their wimpouts:
- Funding the occupation
- FISA
- Telecom Immunity
- Alito
- Mukasey
And Teddy is asking me to send money to re-elect these buttheads.
"Living With War." A great record if you have not heard it.Danny

wOOt! Danny said, "record" and not CD or whateVER. Haha. OK, commiserate about the state of the Union..
Moyers is ripping ABC a new one, which is very refreshing after McLaughlin offered an Obama hatefest replete with several inaccuracies that seemed to be deliberately put forward. (I can't believe people like Mort Zuckerman don't know how to read or do research.)
Worse yet, he impassionedly defended trivial debate questions because, according to him, people vote on character, not on issues. Then most of the panel took up the specious argument that because the Clintons' many transgressions are well known, that makes them more electable than Obama, whose transgressions are not yet well known.
Oh, God save us all from our own stupidity.
I think I'm joining the bitter brigade.

The Dumbocrats are a foolish party and will get what they deserve come November................
BOSTON — Former Clinton Cabinet member Robert Reich on Friday endorsed Barack Obama over Hillary Rodham Clinton in the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Two other Democratic elder statesmen, former Sens. Sam Nunn of Georgia and David Boren of Oklahoma, also said they were supporting the Illinois senator.
Reich, who served as Labor secretary under Bill Clinton, said in a blog post that "although Hillary Clinton has offered solid and sensible policy proposals, Obama's strike me as even more so."
Reich also said Obama's plans for reforming Social Security and health care have a better chance of succeeding
<
I'm posting again, only because this is so interesting.
Reich thinks blowing the cap off of the Social Security cap is DOABLE.
YEARH!!!
Hey Mike, has anyone told you and you like to fuck-off, lately or ever? Ever?
I always thought Mike [(the bloke who left the blog many times in dramatic fashion)(drama-girl)] never held a candle to Robert Oler.
I would rether hear from Rocket Robert than Mikie-boy.
Yeah, Mikie. Potificate for U.S. psuedo-American Mike-of-the-Anglos.
Doh, oops, right! I should'a' had a V-8! Mike has "troll" protected ourselves from thinking independently. Yup, just the wacko left here.
? is that true?
Whoa!
John wrote "What I want to know is, why haven't the Democrats filibustered?--41 votes is all it takes."
Would you list the 41 senators whose votes you have in mind?
Go ahead, Mike-old-boy...
tell us how the cards have REVEALED to you the end result of the 2008 election.
Schmuck.
This should brighten up some Barack supporters - 40,000 yes, you got that right, 40,000 showed up in Philly to see Barack. They better vote.

…The objective is to beat McCain….
-------------
???..., and that’s it?
I feel Obama is better than this...and bigger..., much bigger.
I think his objective is to suggest to Americans the new, the different (from PNAC) way ahead for many, many years.
I doubt that Mike is is bastard Anglo blood, anyway. Bastard.
Check out the pics in the comment section. Al Rodgers has some up - it's breathtaking - a sea of latte sippin, birkenstock wearing, trustfunders (stole that line from a comment at Kos - LOL). Anyway, who knew Philly had so many in that demographic.
Painie!! Are you blogging stoned? Come back after you get some sleep :~)
Annilow
I'm not stoned. More like we are close to a full moon, and Im sick of this place and sick from what I have not said.
I think his objective is to suggest to Americans the new, the different (from PNAC) way ahead for many, many years.
former, that can't happen unless McC is beaten first.
First things first. Beat McCain.
Paine,
Dumbo is an elephant.
What you need to know is which animal is the head Mike's hybrid beast. And it is a beast.
head Mike's s/b head of Mike's

My hubby and I attended this Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young concert. Their tour actually came to Fresno. When they performed this song lots of folks booed them and left the concert very angry. Some folks are just clueless.
Funny, my hubby had on this concert t-shirt just the other day.
This gives me chills:(from the Philly rally)
I was at the rally..... (1+ / 0-)
and this had the greatest impact on me:
On Independence Mall, some short distance from where Obama stood and spoke, are the slave quarters of George Washington (they were excavated about two years ago and were covered over again last year). 250 years ago Obama would have been in the slave quarters. Today he stood on that spot and campaigned for the position Washington, the slave owner, was the first to hold.
I wanted to be at that rally because I wanted to see history being made on that spot. That carries a powerful message.
=====
Well, Paine has definitely joined the bitter brigade.
While we no longer have consecutive posts, we also seem no longer to have a nanny...
Meanwhile, 40,000 out for Barack in Philly???? Wow, that's got to be a record even for him. Amazing!
The conventional wisdom was Hill was going to do well in Philly b/c Rendell is from that part of the state and has all kinds of clout, but I'm guessing Obama willdo very well in the east.
I doubt Hill will get her double digit win.

howdy all. hugs, paine.
I got chills as I read the kos posts about the Philly rally. Hillary's comments about the grassroots came to mind and all I could think was "see? we're still coming, Hillary - and we're not going away."
This is too funny for words. Romney is calling Barack an elitist. LMAO
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/200...
Romney is your typical country club Republican - so out of touch - guy probably doesn't even go to the grocery store. Hilarious.
Dean's full quote :(re: super d's)
"I need them to say who they're for starting now. They really do need to do that. We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing time. We've got to know who our nominee is. There's no reason not to know after the last primary on June 3rd. So the superdelegates have been pretty good so far. They've trickled in, made alliances known as things have gone on. They need to keep doing that so we can get all this wrapped up in June."
he is so right on.
Hahaha!!
50 people picket Disney today over ABC's stupid debate questions:

This is a hoot! I wish I wasn't working Sunday so I could see what Snuffleupagus has to say for himself.
Nite all!

That is funny.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elitism
Elitism is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite — a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes — are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern. ...
...The term elitism is also sometimes misused to denote situations in which a group of people claiming to possess high abilities or simply an in-group or cadre grant themselves extra privileges at the expense of others. This debased form of elitism may be described as discrimination.
Elite (also spelled Élite) is taken originally from the Latin, eligere, "to elect". In sociology as in general usage, the élite is a relatively small dominant group within a large society, which enjoys a privileged status envied by individuals of lower social status. ...
Elite theory is a theory of the state which seeks to describe and explain the power relationships in modern society. It argues that a small minority, consisting of members of the economic elite and policy-planning networks, hold the most power no matter what happens in elections in a country. Through positions in corporations or on corporate boards, and influence over the policy-planning networks through financial support of foundations or positions with think tanks or policy-discussion groups, members of the "elite" are able to have significant power over policy decisions of corporations and governments. ...
elitist
someone who believes in rule by an elite group
This is so hilarious, Obama an elitist?
Who is this elite group Obama believes is ruling?
This is so rovian, accuse your opponent of the opposite of what he is .
----This is so rovian, accuse your opponent of the opposite of what he is .

or accuse him of something you are - as in Romney, McCain, Clinton et al
