The turnout by gender shows an amazing gap so Hillary should be having her best night yet.

but I doubt she narrows the delegate gap by more than a handfull

This is pre-mature, but if Clinton Wins Ohio by 60-40, I for one will be extremely suspicious, since this is the magic margin that she supposedly needs to amass to catch up. The polls have been much closer than that. We all know Ohio's reputation.

Unfortunately for the campaign, the scenario involves her winning by 60 in ALL the rest of the states.

Told 'ya those over 65 yrs. of age white (Catholic) women w/a high school education aren't too bright.

They aren't critical thinkers, by a long stretch.

Closet racists.

Anyone who couldn't see thru those lame-assed 3:00 a.m. ads is freakin' stupid.

Ala Tom Ridge, duct-taping & plastic sheeting the inside of your home.

VT's delegate counts are strong for Obama, as were ME's.

Both states are purple, but the MSM always f^cks that up, too.

They count more, re: weighted.

Ours put him over the top in delegate totals (overall); and that's worth a lot.

Clinton fired her campaign mgr. that night!

Worth psychological clout, too.

63%-70% is a decent haul, Wonder Bread ® VT!

note

In most delegate counts Florida and Michigan are counted for Hillary, and the only way they will be counted is if she goes ahead without them so can set convention rules

she has to win 75% of the delegates after tonight to write her own rules

Ed Rendell is just so smarmy to me.

more caucus:

Per burntorangereport.com's breakdown (0 / 0)
Obama 2:1 in Austin with 8 delegates (most of any senate district). Also has comfortable leads in several in the Houston/Galveston region and nearly a 4:1 lead in one North Texas district.

Sorry if I'm driving ya'all nuts - this is my passion. My best girlfriend just called and asked how the return watching was going. Yup, she knows me. My sister called from her cell on the way home from Costco asking how our guy did. LOL

Hello all

I am disappointed with the big little (RI)

but, I guess 56-42 ain't too bad

just as 53-46 Texas for Obama isn't too bad for for Hillary

then you got OH 59HC-39BO, which is a major duomo disOpointment.

Here for just a minute...temps dropping with rain...probably another all-niter so going for a cat nap...

Phil...the next time you're passing thru this area...please be sure to give me a jingle (April/early May excellent for walleyes).

I'm proud of me fellow free thinking Vermonters...only wish the rest of the country would follow suit. Watching the polls and hoping for that 64% but don't think it'll happen. Still too many racists lurking about (I work with a few). I'm also dreading that Hillary will drag the party down in her pursuit of the oval office (anything to win mentality). Tonight I talked to the one responsible for all the Hillary signs in our area. Something wasn't right...I felt very uneasy talking with this fellow Democrat...like I was the enemy.

Wish I could stay up for the results but harder to burn the candle on both ends nowadays days

All that matters is actual delegate tallies, folks.

Noses to the ground.

Close margins are fine for Obama--it's those delegates that matter.

He still racks 'em up even w/a potential 15 pt. spread.

TX is an hr. behind, and hrs. have been extended, due to turnout (same w/OH).

Austin is the most librul city in TX--not an indicator of anything.

"Bigger" states aren't always worth more, folks.

The Latino delegate tallies aren't as "weighted," due to low proportional '06 turnouts.

How many actually show up @caucus *does* matter (and for whom).

RI wasn't expected to trend Obama, but his spread isn't bad at all.

64% in VT would hold more delegate  clout--votes aren't tallied as yet.

TX won't tally until morning.

Apparently Republicans are crossing over to vote Dem in record numbers in Ohio.

If they are following Rush's advice and trying to administer CPR to Hillary, they need to think really hard.

I know that 4-8 years of HRC 'n' Bill would be any Republican's worst nightmare. If they think that she can't beat McCain, they are foolish indeed.

Much as I don't want HRC to be our nominee, I would laugh myself silly if she was, and won, and the GOP had to endure her. It would almost make it palatable for me to endure her.

It must be remembered that if Hillary lives on after today, what it really means is that she'll have the opportunity to throw more mud at Obama and help McCain win in November -- and thereby keep her family and its adherants at the top of the Democratic Party.

A miraculous comeback is too much for her to realistically hope for, but fatally wounding Obama isn't.

Supertramp - Crime Of The Century Lyrics

Now they're planning the crime of the century
Well what will it be?
Read all about their schemes and adventuring
It's well worth a fee
So roll up and see
And they rape the universe
How they've gone from bad to worse
Who are these men of lust, greed, and glory?
Rip off the masks and let's see.
But that's no right - oh no, what's the story?
There's you and there's me
That can't be right
