By Peace Now Citrus County on Aug 31, 2007 10:54 PM EDTFurther evidence of the bought and paid for "representation" with which we are STUCK.
We can't afford to challenge them and when an independent thinker does so, they receive absolutely zero support from the state Democratic Party. Remember that Senator Mild Bill the Shill Nelson and Karen Thurman are attched at the hip. Remember both of them voted to give Bush war powers and only within the past month has the FDP mentioned the unpleasant word "Iraq" on their website and Karen Thurman announced to our JJ dinner back in the spring that Hillary would be the nominee.
My friends, we are in deep trouble and only if all of us who want to save our party from these corporate pawns is there any hope for the future of our country.
I believe the GOP wants Hillary to be the nominee because that guarantees them the election, no matter whom they nominate. And unless Gore rides in on a huge white horse, Hillary will be our nominee. . . well not "our" nominee but our party's nominee.....well, not "our party" but the Democratic Party.
Resigned but still in the fray,
Beverley
