To create the four-minute film, a handful of cats from across the country Vibram Five Fingers Bikila equipped with HD video cameras around their collars to collect documentary style footage of their daily lives. The film stars a number of these "celebricats" including Charlene Butterbean, Fudge, Gizmo and Milo as they explore, play and enjoy life. Friskies worked with Los Angeles based directorproducer Erik Denno and editordirector Jason Farrell Vibram Five Fingers Classic spotlight cats on the silver screen. Bryan Lee Brown and Paul Figueroa created the film's original music. "Friskies wanted to share the magical world of cats in an entirely new way. We want the whole world to see and enjoy cats' unique personalities and perspectives," said Daniel Henke-Cilenti, senior Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Black-Black manager of Friskies. "To give cats the spotlight they deserve, we made them the stars of their own film and celebrated in true Hollywood fashion."Intercut with the celebrities shouting "Cause an uproar!" and images of lions, leopards, cougars and tigers flashing teeth, the PSA calls for viewers Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Black-Yellow join National Geographic's Big Cats Initiative, a long-term commitment to help find solutions that will stop big cats from disappearing forever.Another celebrity causing an uproar? This time, it's not reckless antics or drunken escapades! In a new PSA launching Monday, December 6, 2010,during Nat Geo WILD's Big Cat Week, celebrities including musicians Sarah McLachlan and David Archuletta.
