Beat Paul Ryan -- Twice

This is a message from our Political Director, Michael Langenmayr: Joe Biden and Paul Ryan face off in the first and only VP debate this Thursday. But Paul Ryan isn't just running for VP -- he's running for re-election to Congress from Wisconsin, too. That's right, Paul Ryan is on the ballot twice this year -- once for VP and once for re-election to the House -- and we can beat him both times. Progressive fighter Rob Zerban is challenging Ryan in his re-election campaign and just shocked the political world by out-raising Ryan by more than $200,000 last quarter. That's huge! Now, we're hosting a little debate pre-party of sorts:We're making calls to voters in Paul Ryan's home district this Thursday -- right before the VP debate -- to help put Rob Zerban over the top. Will you join us and make calls to voters in Paul Ryan's home district before the VP debate this Thursday? Yes! I can make calls to voters in Paul Ryan's home district this Thursday! Yes! I can make calls to voters in other must-win districts this weekend! Sorry, I can't make calls, but I'll contribute $10 right now to help Get Out The Vote. These calls are easy and fun. All that you need to be able to join us is a computer and a telephone. We'll provide the numbers and a quick training on how the calls work. These calls are important, too. Republicans are dominating the airwaves with vicious attack ads to tear Democrats down. But talking directly to voters on the phone is one of the most powerful and effective ways to cut through Republican spin, earn support, and get voters to the polls. So, will you join us this Thursday and make calls to beat Paul Ryan twice this November? Yes! I can make calls to voters in Paul Ryan's home district this Thursday! Sorry, I can't make calls, but I'll contribute $10 to help Get Out The Vote. Thank you for all that you do. -ML Michael Langenmayr, Political Director Democracy for America
